Journal #16

I have many favorite things, and it is hard to choose just a few to discuss; therefore, I will tell all of my favorites that I can think of. My favorite color is green. I have no specific shade of green which sticks out to me, but I just enjoy the color green. In the Muslim culture, green symbolizes peace, and that may have something to do with it in my subconscious. My favorite food would have to be chicken wings. I enjoy spicy chicken wings more than normal ones. Buffalo Wild Wings serves delicious wings, and they are readily available. However, the best wings that I have ever eaten come from Peoria. I forgot the name of the restaurant, but I know they were delicious. I also enjoy Mexican food very much. I would say tacos are my second favorite food. Taco Bell serves up a good taco, and I am a fan. My favorites animal is a tough call. I can say that my favorite bird is the Toucan. It's pretty and colorful, and its diet consists solely of Fruit Loops. My favorite giant cat would have to me the tiger because of its sheer beastly nature and versatility. I learned recently that unlike almost every other cat on Earth, the tiger is an excellent swimmer. It saddens me greatly how severely endangered they are. I believe my favorite large, terrestrial land mammal is the grizzly bear. They are awesome to watch. My favorite medium sized terrestrial land animal would be the Red Wolf. These are also greatly endangered which is a darn shame. My favorite whale must be the Humpback Whale. They are glorious. Along with that, my favorite fish would be the Clown Fish. This is mainly because I am not familiar with too many fish species, and the Clown Fish is very unique. My favorite bird of prey goes to the Golden Eagle. I think that it should be our national symbol instead of the bald eagle because it is so much more awesome.
