As we all know, foxes are known to be very clever and pesky animals. That is especially true for Mr. Jimi Fox. Jimi lives a normal life of sneaking around and stealing food from unsuspecting victims such as the lowly Thomas Turtle, but everybody and their grandmothers know Jimi around the watering hole. One day, Jimi needed some lunch, and some tasty fish was just what he needed. He snuck to the stream, and there he saw some lovely fish swimming peacefully in the rocks. He was licking his chops because he was so hungry, and he could not wait to kill and eat those friendly fish. Jimi was sort of a dastardly fox, but some say he had a nice side to him. Nobody had ever seen this nice side however, so the rumors were fading. Jimi did not care though, he sort of enjoyed being evil. One day, Thomas Turtle was just not having a good day. When he woke up from his den, he stubbed his big toe on a rock. Next, when he was eating breakfast, he ate a rotten leaf, and got sick. Then, it started raining. Normally, Thomas does not mind the rain, but this time was different. His den caved in, and his possessions were destroyed. It was not a good day indeed. Anyway, Thomas was stumbling down the forest, and he came upon old Jimi. Now he was really scared because he knows Jimi is a big stinker. However, something amazing happened on this terrible day of Thomas'. Jimi was on his way to grab some lunch maybe at a bird's nest, and he saw poor Thomas walking along. Normally, Jimi would think nothing of it, but today was different. His small and black heart grew two sizes that day. Jimi picked up Thomas on his pack and carried him all the way to the watering hole where Thomas drank his water and was satisfied. Then, Jimi built a new den for Thomas where he lived for the rest of his days. The entire village heard of this, and their thoughts changed completely. Jimi was treated like a first class citizen from then on.
