I thought that the video on Youtube titled "The Impotence of Proofreading" was very funny, and it also taught some useful tips while using Microsoft Word. During the video, he tells a story of sorts about how he is a terrible speller and writer especially when it comes to grammar. Throughout the video, he says the words as if they were spelled wrong, and they were therefore completely different words. This was the funny part because he said some really funny phrases such as "i wanted to get into Harvard or Jail." Of course, he meant to say Yale, but that is the funny part. I do not know why this video is not a Youtube sensation yet, but I am sure it will be at some point.in time. It says in the background of the stage in which the man is speaking on that it is some kind of poetry club reading. That seems to be correct because it is a sort of a poem. What I am very creeped out by though is the random guy just sitting there next to him. I am sure that he is some sort of poetry club spokesman or something that, but the whole time, he just stares at the speaker. For some reason, this video reminded me of another Youtube video that I really like which is titled "Evolution of Dance." This video is the most popular video on Youtube which makes it ridiculously popular. Anyway, it is also very funny because it has this normal guy standing on stage when the video opens. Some loud music then comes on, and the man starts to dance. His comical dances go through a few decades of popular music. He makes a couple of dances to older and fun songs such as "Apache" by The Sugarhill Gang iconic in the modern world of dance. His scripted out and extremely creative dance moves are very reminiscent of this proofreading video. Both of them are spectacular videos, but one is just more famous than the other. I hope that this comical poet gets the praise that he deserves for his golden comedy about a serious subject.
