Journal #4

I enjoy traveling very much. Seeing new places is a favorite thing of mine. I think the best vacation I have ever been on was to the moon. I remember that I was not very old, and I do not remember all the details, but it was a great trip. Everybody says that the moon is dangerous or that it is uninhabited. Well I say horse hockey! When we first arrived, I remember the amazing hotel in which we stayed. The large pool was amazing. Also, the best part of the vacation was going to the theme park. It was really cool because it felt like there was no gravity. The moon was great, but it is always nice to go home after a long trip. This past summer, I worked in Virginia on the Appalachian Trail for three weeks. I love traveling so sure it was an awesome trip. However, after that long of time, I was glad to get home. I plan to do the same thing next year but in a different location. I hope I get to go to Alaska, which would be amazing. If I do not get selected to go to Alaska for the summer, I would want to go somewhere out in the Northwest. On a separate note, I am so super pumped to go to Germany two years from now. After I get out of high school and before college, I will take an extended trip to Germany and all around Europe to see all of my foreign friends. Hopefully my good pal Matt Vermeersch goes with me because that would be even better. I have befriended many foreign exchange students at the school over the years, and I do want to see them again. Also, I have heard that Europe is a wonderful place because of things such as the parties. I think that will be a large aspect of the fun. Since I am a big fan of house music, I will have fun.
